Company Holidays
We acknowledge these holidays for their representation of American values and their significance to our Christian faith. We hope all Waterfield employees and their families enjoy these days of celebration and reflection!
1. New Year’s Day | January 1st
– Celebrates the first day of the Christian new year. This day everyone is encouraged to thank God for giving hard-working Waterfield Employees and their families a brand-new year!
2. Good Friday | The Friday before Easter Sunday
– Honoring Christ our Savior, who died for all mankind’s sins.
3. Presidents’ Day | Third Monday in February
– Honoring President George Washington, the first US President, and all U.S. Presidents following him.
4. Memorial Day | Last Monday in May
– Remembrance for those who died serving in the U.S. military.
5. Independence Day | July 4th
– Celebrates America’s Declaration of Independence in 1776.
6. Labor Day | First Monday in September
– Honors the original American working man, whose early efforts and sacrifices built the America we have today.
7. Columbus Day | Second Monday in October
– A day to celebrate Christopher Columbus’ discovery of America.
8. Veterans Day | November 11th
– Honors all military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
9. Thanksgiving Day | Last Thursday in November
– A time for giving thanks for all God has given us with feasts and traditional family gatherings.
10. Christmas Day | December 25th
– Celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ and all Christendom has done for the world with gift-giving, visits from St. Nicholas, and traditional family gatherings.
11. Election Day | The Tuesday following the first Monday in November
– Waterfield gives time-off for American employees to vote.
